At Stratum Designer (operated by Quaint Studios LLC), we believe your data, 3D assets, project files, and personal privacy belong strictly to you.

1. Absolute Zero Telemetry Commitment

Stratum Designer is built on an absolute zero-telemetry architecture.

No Asset Tracking: Your procedural node graphs, 3D meshes, textures, and project files remain 100% on your local drive and are never uploaded to any remote server.
No Analytics Logs: We do not collect product analytics, clickstream data, usage heatmaps, or diagnostic logs from the desktop binary.

2. Information We Collect (Website Only)

When visiting our marketing website (stratumdesigner.com), we collect minimal, privacy-focused information:

Email Subscriptions: If you choose to join our launch waitlist or newsletter, your email address is verified and stored using Plunk. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link provided in any email.
Privacy-Friendly Analytics: We use a self-hosted, cookieless Plausible analytics instance to track aggregate pageviews without collecting personally identifiable information (PII) or IP addresses.

3. Merchant of Record & Payment Processing

All license purchases and payment transactions are processed securely through Lemon Squeezy, acting as our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles tax compliance, payment collection, and license key generation. We do not store or process your credit card numbers or financial account details on our servers.

4. Hardware Verification Hashes

To enforce device allocations (3 devices per license key) without tracking users, Stratum generates an irreversible SHA-256 hash of hardware identifiers using local system utilities. Raw computer names, operating system usernames, and network addresses are never stored, logged, or transmitted.
